Karen is the head of our team and has more than 20 years’ experience in private client work, specialising in wills and probate. 

Karen qualified as a solicitor in 2007, after attaining a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Leeds. She worked at several medium and large North West firms before establishing Yates Legal in 2021.

Karen is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a highly accredited qualification which allows her to use the designation TEP.
